A faith-based healthcare institution founded in 1965 by the Africa Inland Mission under Dr. Carl Becker. Kagando Hospital has grown into one of the leading faith-based healthcare institutions in Western Uganda.

Our Biblical Foundation

Kagando Hospital is a faith-based healthcare institution founded in 1965 by the Africa Inland Mission under Dr. Carl Becker. Located in Western Uganda, the hospital has grown into a major community-centered institution with a capacity of 250 beds.

In addition to providing quality healthcare services, Kagando Hospital operates a Kagando Institute of Health Sciences, UCU-Kagandom University College,  Kagando primary  Nursery and School School, a Mothers Care Home, and several community outreach programs. Its initiatives include Palliative Care, Mental Health Outreach, Medical Rehabilitation services, HIV/AIDS support, Maternal and Child Health services, clean water and sanitation programs, agriculture, nutrition, entrepreneurship, and women’s health empowerment.

For decades, Kagando Hospital has remained committed to improving lives through holistic healthcare, education, and community development guided by Christian values.
